Immersion Programmes for 2027 - Stay Tuned!
6 July 2020|language, travel
Hello Languesol Army,
Welcome back to our blog! We hope that you continue to be well since our last post and especially despite the circumstances faced.
Fortunately in some countries, folks can breathe a sigh of relief as "deconfinement" measures are being put in place, the curve is being flattened and businesses can finally receive their clients once more. Unfortunately in others, the virus is still a very vivid reality and we encourage all our readers, wherever in the world you are, to continue doing what you can to stay safe!
During the confinement, we were able to adapt our offers by proposing virtual language lessons, as our usual and fantastic language immersion programmes have been put on hold.
We want to reiterate the high priority Languesol International places on the safety and wellbeing of participants in our programmes and therefore happily advise persons to "learn now and travel later"!
1. No better time that now
This is actually a perfect time to learn from home, as travel to many countries still hasn't been restored as governments strive to control the virus on their territories. So why not challenge yourself to learn a new language (or to improve in a foreign language) at your convenience, while still being surrounded by your friends and families.
2. Something to look forward to
We believe that the travel industry will recover! There will probably be more or less significant changes to the way we travel, but soon it will be possible again. In fact, borders all over the world are being reopened, and even if there are travel corridors/bubbles, as the situation in countries improves, so will the measures. So, in preparation for this moment (and this moment has even already come for persons in some countries!), take up the exciting adventure of learning (or improving your) foreign language. You'll be so happy when the time for travel actually comes as your language skills will be so much sharper.
3. Make new friends before hand
The thing about our lessons online is that they take place in virtual classrooms. So, you can integrate a classroom in Spain and meet other language learners like yourself. So, learning online now, gives you the opportunity of networking, of making new friends, who could very well be also travelling to the target country as soon as travel is possible!

There are so many reasons to learn a language online at this moment. If you'd like to add a few, don't hesitate to comment on this post.
If you're interested in taking language lessons online or pre-register for an immersion programme, book a free information session with us! we'll be happy to discuss your plans.
